Quality & Outcomes

New England Rehabilitation Hospital's commitment to excellence is reflected through our accreditation by the Joint Commission.

Joint Commission is one of our nation's most respected healthcare accrediting agencies. This means that New England Rehabilitation Hospital meets or exceeds the high standards of care set by this regulatory body.

The Joint Commission evaluates the quality and safety of care for nearly 16,000 health care organizations including New England Rehabilitation Hospital. For New England Rehabilitation Hospital to earn and maintain accreditation, we must undergo an extensive on-site review by a team of Joint Commission health care professionals, at least once every three years. The purpose of the review is to evaluate our performance in areas that affect patient care.

Licensed as an acute rehabilitation facility by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, New England Rehabilitation Hospital is a proud member of the Massachusetts Hospital Association.
