New England Rehabilitation Hospital at Danvers is a 20-bed, inpatient rehabilitation hospital unit, dedicated to helping you maximize your functionality, mobility, and independence after an illness, injury or surgery. When you are ready to leave the hospital, but not yet ready for home, we provide the care you need to help you get back to your independence.

What to Expect During Your Stay
During your first days at New England Rehabilitation Hospital at Danvers, you will be assigned your internist and physiatrist who will manage your care on a daily basis. Your team of rehabilitation specialists will conduct evaluations so they can design your individualized treatment plan and estimate how much time you will need to reach your goals. Your case manager will work closely with you and your family, keeping you informed of updates to your treatment plan and status of your progress.
Each day you will participate in a rehabilitative therapy program customized for you. How long each session lasts depends on your unique therapy goals. Each week, you and your treatment team will meet to discuss your progress, goals, and discharge plan. Toward the end of your stay, your team will work with you to determine the best way to continue your recovery.
