New England Rehabilitation Hospital at Woburn

Patient Unit Rooms, Accommodations and Treatment Areas

New England Rehabilitation Hospital's main campus has three inpatient patient units. Each has a team of rehabilitation professionals trained to meet the specialized needs of patients on that unit.

All rooms have a television, individual patient bureaus, personal wardrobe closets and a bedside telephone. The TV and the telephone are provided for a nominal fee per day. Ample space is available for family visits on each unit, in our large cafeteria, on our outdoor patio and on hospital grounds, weather permitting.

Each of the patient units has designated gym space, which is designed and equipped to meet the unique therapeutic needs of the patient population it serves. These bright and airy spaces offer equipment important to a patient's recovery to include our rehabilitation technology. A therapeutic kitchen is located on the hospital's second floor. Here patients work on their home making skills, learning accommodation which will help them be as independent as possible when they return home. Throughout the hospital there are additional functional training areas, to include the patient's room, where transfer and activities of daily living are taught and mastered.

Typically meals are delivered to the patient's room at 8 am, noon and 5:30 pm daily. Visitors are also welcome to enjoy our cafeteria and gift shop located on the hospital's first floor.
